Mary Lind was born Dec. 25, 1864 in Vera and came to Decatur from Vandalia. She was twice married; her first husband was William Redmon whose death occurred a number
of years ago. Her second marriage was to Charles Perkins. She leaves her husband and two daughers, Mrs. Jack Toombs and Miss Arlene Perkins, also she leaves her sister, Mrs. Maggie Bruce of Colorado Springs, and her brothers, Willam
Lind of Springfield; Joseph Lind of Ohio and John S. Lind of New Smyrna, Fla. Mrs. Perkins was a member of the auxiliary to the Spanish-American war veterans.
Funeral services will be in the chapel of Dawson & Wikoff Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Burial will be in South Hill cemetery, Vanalia.
