Funeral services for Bessie Marie Klinesmith, Age 63, of Leix Road Mayville were conducted Tuesday, July 13 from the Mayville United Methodist church at 1 pm by Rev. Ralph Barteld officiated with burial in the West Dayton Cemetery.
Bessie Klinesmith passed away July 10, 1976, at the Caro Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born December 27, 1912, at Beach Groove, Ohio.
She married Charles L. Klinesmith in Sept. of 1932 [June 5, 1935] in Imlay City.
Mrs. Klinesmith as a employee of the Caro Regional Center for the last 2 year and was the assistant supervisor of the Central kitchen until her retirement in May 5, 1976.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; three sons Roy and Charles F., both of Mayville; four daughters, Miram G. Kelley and Diane Klinesmith both at home, Donna Dadacki of Kingston and Elsie Stratton of Clio, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a sister Elsie Fogelgesand of Florida; and two brothers, Henry Kauffman of Sandusky, Ohio and Roy Kauffman of Los Angeles, California.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
