Arthur S. Herring, 77, of Charlottesville, died on Monday, May 21,2012, at a local nursing facility. He was born on February 19, 1935. in Vienna, Virginia, the son of William Arthur and Dorothy Mae Dean Herring.
Mr. Herring was a veteran of the United State Army and retired as a driver with the Trailways Bus Company. He is survived by his wife, June D. Herring; one daughter, Hope Wyss and her husband, Paul; two sons, David Herring and Sam Herring; two sisters, Mary Donaldson and Hazel H. Jenkins; and three grandchildren, Nikki Wyss, Matthew Herring and Miles Herring. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, May 25,2012, at Holly Memorial Gardens with Pastor Shawn Edwards officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5;30 until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Teague Funeral Home.
