She is preceded in death by both parents, Virgil Ours and Ora Belle Fox Ours, of Buckhannon, West Virginia; a daughter, Judy Mae Tenney; sisters Ida Belle Ours Tenney, Wilda Ours Tenney; brothers, Harold, Sanford, and Noble Ours. She is survived by her brother, Robert Ours; sisters Patty Ours Gifford, and Patty Mahan; and daughter, Vicki Lynn Tenney.
Izella was a loving wife, and mother. She was a wonderful, gifted, and talented Christian woman. She loved to crochet, embroider, quilt, sew, and was a big helping hand to her husband and children.
Izella's 3rd great grandfather, John Godfrey Ours (Auer) came to America from Singen, Karlsruhe, Baden-Wurttenberg, Germany, settling in West Virginia. Her father, Virgil Ours, lived to be over 100 years old before his passing in 2001. She was very proud of her family after growing up on a large farm with several brothers and sisters.
