Mrs. Susannah, wife of John Adams, died at her home on North Bedford street, at 11 a.m. Sunday, aged 63 years, 9 months and 5 days. Death was due to pneumonia and she had been ill only two weeks.
The deceased was formerly Miss Goudy and was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. She is survived by her husband and five sons, Ira, John, Charles, Samuel and Levi, and one daughter, Miss Maria at home.
Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Reuben Seiler, of Carlisle, and Mrs. John Shatto, of Mechanicsburg.
Funeral Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in new addition to Old Graveyard.
