She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lollie Denmark of Bulloch County, her husband, William F. Brannen, Sr., and her daughter Joyce Nettles.
She is survived by her children, Diane Rountree, Bill Brannen, Jr., Randy Brannen; her grandchildren, Jim Rountree III, Christy Nettles David, Barbara Nettles, Debra Nettles, Will Brannen III, Brooke Brannen, Rose Brannen, Randall Brannen; two great-grandchildren, Will and Meg David; and many nieces and nephews.
"Mom" or "Nana" or "Aunt Eunice" spent her whole life taking care of us all with a cheerful heart and beautiful smile. She was dearly beloved and is greatly missed by us all. She was a longtime member of Savannah Primitive Baptist Church. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests that all memorial contributions be made to Hospice at Spanish Oaks Retreat, 8510 Whitfield Ave., Savannah, GA 31406.
