Ralph Edward Stark, 73, of 814 Eighth Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids resident 35 years and an employee of the city streets department 26 years until his retirement 3 years ago, died in a hospital at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. For the last 3 years he had been employed by Howard Hall. He was born in Tilden, Neb., Dec. 22, 1886.
Surviving are his wife, Stata; a daughter, Mrs. Sherman Scovill of Marshalltown; 2 brothers, George, of Marion and Dell, of Waubeek; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services: Beatty-Beurle's at 1:30 Wednesday. Burial: Campbell cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road. Friends may call atthe chapel after 1 Tuesday.
