Hezekiah Allen Taylor b 1837 Indian Creek Smith Co Tennessee d 3 May 1864 Richland Creek Searcy Co Arkansas.
Parents William Edward Bill Taylor and Elizabeth Betsy Allen. Spouse Sarah Jane Yates. Children: Pleasant Hezekiah, William Hezekiah, Malinda.

Hezekiah was killed during the Civil War. Jane married Harrison Cavin after he died. The Taylors came to AR. from Dekalb/Smith Co. Tenn.
In the "Confederates Buried in Boone,Baxter,
Carroll,Newton and Searcy Counties Arkansas"
book by James Troy Massey 1997 it states
"Hezekiah Taylor, killed during a skirmish on Richland Creek and buried in a field in front of a cabin on the Ozark Highland Trail and the field is owned by Lunce Cash"(Searcy Co.AR). (2007 believe now owned by the Nat. Forest Service)
