He was the son of William E. Taylor & Elizabeth Betsy Allen, . David & wife Louisa had 3 children Tennessee,William & Hezikiah. David was killed in the civil war by Jayhawkers. He was tied to a horse and dragged to death. He was later found dead on the road to Marshall about 2 miles from his home.∼This metal marker was left by Ellenora Taylor Tomlinson at the Baker Hollow Cemetery, Searcy County, Arkansas. There is no proof that he is actually buried there. She just wanted to make sure he was remembered.
