Paul D. Frazee, 78, of rural Columbus, died at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1998, at the Skaggs Community Health Center at Branson, Mo., after an apparent heart attack.
He was born Dec. 29, 1919, at rural Columbus, to Frank E. and Fannie O'Neal Frazee.
He lived in the area most of his life.
He graduated from Columbus High School in 1938 and attended Fort Hays State University at Hays for one year.
He married Laura May Coble on June 21, 1942, at Columbus.
Mr. Frazee farmed in the area for more than 50 years.
He also worked for the Spencer Chemical Co., near Crestline, and for the NCN Plant near Hallowell.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Larry Frazee of Eldridge, Iowa; a daughter, Linda Bump of Chetopa; a sister, Gladys Povodnik of rural Parsons; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Garry Frazee; and a grandson, David.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Murdock Funeral Home at Columbus, with the Rev. Wilma Heavin and the Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating.
Burial will be at the Edgmand Cemetery northwest of Columbus.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
