I found Mina's name spelled different ways in census records; Ara Mina, Aramina and Mina. She was the daughter of Cynda and Frank Smith.
She spent her childhood living in Drury Township, Rock Island County, Illinois. On July 12, 1912 she first married Ernest Starr Coulter, son of Jane Ann (Beeney) and William James Coulter.
To this union was born seven children:

Harvey Leroy; b.1919 – d.1956,
Elmer M; b.1921 – d.2000,

While married to Ernest, the family lived in Eliza, IL. He died Feb 17, 1931 leaving her alone with their seven children ranging in age from 15 days old to 17 years.
After the death of her first husband, Mina married Vern Mead, son of Elizabeth Ann (Kenney) and Alnonzo Emerson Mead. They had one son together; Leo Mead. Vern also proceeded her in death in 1963.
Mina died in 1981 at the age of 85. She is buried in the New Boston cemetery next to her second husband Vern. Her first husband, Ernest is buried in the Drury Reynolds Cemetery in Rock Island County.
