HEART ATTACK FATAL TO AGED RESIDENT
Funeral of Long-Time Carthage Citizen
Will Be Held Tomorrow
William H. Miller, 82 years old, resident of Carthage for 40 years, died at home, 822 Sycamore street, from heart disease. He had been in failing health for some time but death was sudden.
Mr. Miller was born in Putman county, Indiana May 16, 1844 and moved to Kansas with his parents when 12 years old, residing in that state during the Civil War period.
He later moved to Iowa, where he was married to Miss Annie Kitsmiller, January 31, 1870.
Surviving are the widow and the following children: James Miller, Jasper; Thomas Miller, Picher, Okla.; Frank Miller, Carthage; Mrs. Lizzie Vaughn, Bagnell, MO.; Mrs. May McGarragill, Williams, Ariz.; Mrs. Ella Courtney, Marland, Okla.; Mrs. Sherman Drake, Carthage; Mrs. John Kingsbury, Carthage; Mrs. Earnest Tharp, Joplin; Mrs. Roy E. Church, Hammond, Ind. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The Rev. E. R. Myers will have charge. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
