Petrus (Peter) Weatherwax was baptized on 20 Jul 1752 in Rhinebeck Ref. Church. No date of birth is indicated in the church record. This land was originally part of his fathers farm. Peter died intestate abt 1 May 1805 based upon the Probate file in the Rensselaer county Surrogates office. He was the 2nd still recorded burial in Brookins Family cemetery, the first being Mary Follet bur:4 Jan 1876. It is possible that his Parents were also buried in the same location. His father Andreas Weatherwax d:1784. Andrea's son Martin inherited his fathers farm and sold the farm to James Brookins in 1792. It is quite possible that Andreas b:1700;d:1784 is also buried here in an unmarked grave.
