Earl Nunn

Earl Nunn, 92, of Greensburg, Ky., died on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg.

Son of the late George Nunn and Mary Ann Stilts Nunn, he was born on Sept. 21, 1911 in Metcalfe County, Ky., was a member of South Greensburg Baptist Church and a farmer.

He was married to Oris Pepper, who preceded him in death on Dec. 13, 1977. He was later married to Hallie Dangerfield on Dec. 23, 1979. She survives.

Other survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Earl and Debbie Nunn of Greensburg; one step-son and step-daughter, Buddy Beard of Greensburg and Mary Jane Rodgers of Louisville; two grandchildren, Cody Nunn and Callee Nunn, both of Greensburg; three step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Carl Nunn; and one half-brother, Clifford Tarter.

Funeral was at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1 at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Gilbert Larimore officiated.

Pallbearers were Cody Nunn, Philip Judd, Roy Pruitt, Darren Beard, Rodney Nunn, Dennis Nunn and Doug Smith.
