Harvey H. Curtiss, for many years a resident of Geneseo, died in Batavia on Sunday. Mr. Curtiss was very well known to many Avon people. He conducted a restaurant in Genese for several years.

Mrs. R. J. Curtiss, killed in the railroad wreck at Marshall, Mo., was stepmother of Harvey H. Curtiss of Genese, and formerly resided here. She had been Visiting here this summer and was returning to her daughter's, Mrs. Burton Lynn of Simpson, Kan., when the accident occurred.
