She was the daughter of Henry and Sarah (Belvin) Belvin. She attended school at Boswell. Lavada was a retired WIC Specialist with Choctaw Nation. She married Edgel Mitchell Frazier on August 20, 1949 in Grayson County, Texas, he preceded her in death. Lavada married Fred Duke on September 24, 1988 at Coalgate, Ok, he preceded her in death. Lavada was a member of the Coalgate SAA Church and was a teacher and head elder. She enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking, canning, reading the Bible and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Delores Lewis and husband Gaylon of Stratford, OK, Pamela Cole and husband Carey of Phillips, OK, James Frazier and wife Vicki of Coalgate, OK, Joni Frazier Gonzales of Purcell, OK, Rebecca Pickins and husband Eugene of Coalgate, OK, William Frazier and wife Sheila of Atoka, OK, Stephen Frazier and wife Markette of Wardville, OK and Lucinda Kuykendall and husband Billy of Cartwright, OK; brothers, Virgil Belvin and wife Marzel of Vallliant, OK, Dante A. Belvin and wife Loretta of Boswell, OK, Johnny Belvin of Boswell, OK, Jerry Belvin of Boswell, OK, Richard Belvin of Hugo, OK and Soloman Belvin and wife Lana of McCloud, OK; sisters, Sarah Virginia Rutledge of Millerton, OK, Debra Bacon of Boswell, OK; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Sarah Belvin; brothers, Baby Boy Belvin and Henry "Poochum" Belvin, Husbands Edgel Frazier and Fred Duke; daughter, Carolyn Hall Ned; grandson, Timothy Pickens and a sister, Jimmie Lou Hunt. Service will be Monday, May 21, 2012 at Brown's Funeral Chapel, Atoka, OK. Elder John Moyer will officiate. Interment will be at Good Springs Church Cemetery in Boswell, OK.
