JENA - Services for James D. Gay will be at 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Bros. with the Revs. S.B. Spinks and Larry Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Belah Cemetery.
Gay, 83, of Jena died at 4:14 a.m. Monday, July 4, 1994, in LaSalle General Hospital.
He was a retired taxidermist.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Stapleton of Jena; one son, James C. Gay of Riverton, Wyo.; one daughter, Shelia Garner of Thermopalis, Wyo.; three step-daughters, Jo E. Hudnall and Johnnie J. Greer, both of Jena, and Melba Lodatto of Bossieer City; three brothers, Ward Gay of Sequim, Wash., Robert Gay of Mesa, Wyo., and Al Gay of Lukeville, Ariz.; three sisters, Dorothy L. Lamont of Jackson, Wyo., Joy A. Leon of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jewel Richmond of Walnut Creek, Calif.; six grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 14 Step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Stapleton, Curt Stapleton, Dough Stapleton, Leon Lodatto, Scott Lodatto and Chuck McCartney.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home.
