Mrs. Sallie Adair Thomas,84 of 817 Walker Avenue, was found dead at her residence Sunsay morning.
The body was found by The Rev. John Akers,pastor of St. Peter Episcopal Church and Paris Firemen when they went to the home after Rev. Akers had been informed by a friend of Mrs. Thomas that efforts to reach her by telephone had proven futile.
Mrs. Dolly Hill, the friend normally went by to pick up Mrs. Thomas to take her to church and had called her Sunday morning when she failed to get an answer, sahe called rev. Akers.
Bourbon County Coroner Bruce Forsythe said Mrs. Thomas apparently died sometime Saturday and that death was due to natural causes, Mrs. Thomas having been under a doctor's care for sometime.
A native of Bourbon County, she was the daughter of A. P (Allen Percy) Adair,Sr., and Katherine Stollworthy Adair and Widow of the Late Bennett Thomas.
She was a member of St. Peter's Church.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by three daughter, Mrs. Charles W.,Cluster, Cynthania, Mrs Sam Caddy Jr., Virginia Beach, Va., and Mrs John May, Lexington, She was preceded in death by a infant Infant of Bennett Thomas (Death Certificates Born & died December 15th, 1917 Stillborn
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Episcopal Church with Rev. Akers, conducting the service. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery.
