Elzie Willian Brewer, age 74, farmer of the Levelwoods Community died Thursday night at the Mary Immaculate Hospital at Lebanon where he had been a patient since Jan. 23. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sadie Warren Brewer; six daughters, Miss Betty Brewer, Miss Catherleen Brewer, Miss Margie Brewer, Mrs. Norma Skaggs, all of Star Route, Campbellsville; Mrs. Shellie Allen, Rt 5, Hodgenville; and Mrs. Alene Skaggs, of Hodgenville; six sons, Harold Brewer, Harrison Brewer, Heistand Brewer and Daniel Brewer, all of Star Route, Campbellsville; Gene Brewer of Louisville; and James Brewer of Rt 3, Hodgenville; sixteen Grandchilden; one sister, Mrs. Erma Whitlock of Rock Falls, Ill.; two brothers, David Brewer and Will Brewer, both of Route 5, Hodgenville.The body was at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home, in this city, until funeral services Sunday at Levelwoods Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery with military rites.
