Mrs. Louise K. Knight, 79, died Friday evening at Quimby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Knight, 25 years ago. She had made her home in Cherokee county for the 55 years. Her son, Earl Knight, of Aurelia survives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Methodist church at Quimby. Rev. Edwin Trigg of Aurelia will be in charge. Burial will be in the Silver township cemetery. Kroll Funeral Home of Aurelia is in charge of arrangements.

Earl Knight's Mother Passes Away at Quimby

Mrs. Louise K. Knight, mother of Earl Knight residing north of Aurelia, passed away Friday evening of last week at her home in Quimby where she had resided the past 55 years.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Quimby Sunday afternoon with Rev. Edwin Trigg, pastor of the Aurelia Congregational church, in charge. Interment took place in the Silver township cemetery.

Louise Kathryn McKeeman, was born in Jones county, Iowa, March 25, 1860 and died in Quimby, Iowa, June 23, 1939, at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 29 days.

She grew to woman-hood in Jones county, Iowa. On July 4, 1876, she was united in marriage to Isaac M. Knight, of Anamosa, Iowa, where they lived for several years. From there they came to Cherokee county, and established a home and reared their family. To their union was born two children. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband in the year 1912, and a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Barnes, who died in 1916.

She is survived by one son, Earl Knight of Aurelia; several nephews and nieces and many friends.
