In 1850, they had moved to Marion county, Indiana where they settled with 4 children. To this union were born Elizabeth J., Agnes Ritchie, Isabella, Daniel Hall, Sarah, and Martha McKeeman. However, those recorded in 1850 Census are Isaac 44, Martha 46, and children Isabella 19, Daniel 14, Sarah 13, and Martha McKeeman 10.
After his wife Martha passed away in 1851, Isaac re-married Hannah Jane Hendricks on Dec. 23, 1852 in Hancock county, Indiana. The family migrated further west to Jones county, Iowa. In the 1860 Census, the family is living in Wayne twp. Jones county, Iowa, names and ages listed are; Isaac L. McKeeman 54, H.J. McKeeman 28, M.E. Whitman 9, Lucy R. Whitman 7, Mary McKeeman 3, and C. McKeeman 1.
