Taylor "Poppy" Marcum , 70, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Manchester , KY, Taylor was a real estate entrepreneur for many years. He was a U S Army Viet Nam Veteran, a talented singer and musician, an avid fisherman, and great husband and father and grand father. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Patricia Marcum of Laotto, IN; son, Don E. Marcum and Taylor Marcum III both of Fort Wayne, daughters, Sally T (Eduardo) Perez of Fishers, INand Joyce A (Tony E) Miller of Fort Wayne, IN. 7 grandchildren; bother, Lloyd (Frances) Marcum, sister, Heaster (Manard) Lawson, sister, Anna Lee (Clifford) Batt, brother, John (Edna) Marcum, brother, Milton (Sandra) Marcum, and brother Teddy (Pauline) Marcum. step-sister, Bonnie Mills . Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor Sr. and Sallie Marcum. Funeral Service is Sat. 10:00 am, May 12, 2012 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Friday, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
