Mrs. Shirley Wooten Dice, age 74, of Douglas passed away Tuesday morning, at her residence, following an extended illness.
She was the daughter of the late Henry Claude Wooten and the late Vernie Cliett Wooten. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Gene Dice, brothers, Bill Wooten, Marcus Wooten, and sister, Roxy Smith. Mrs. Dice was a member of the Broxton Methodist Church.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Heather Rae Dice Harrell of Douglas, Ga.; Cynthia Rigdon of Douglas, Ga. 1 Son: Rusty Wright of Douglas, Ga. 3 Brothers: Robert Wooten of Broxton, Ga.; Leston Wooten of Douglas, Ga., Michael Wooten of Eatonton, Ga. 3 Sisters: Wylene O'Steen of West Green, Ga.; Lucille Tanner of Broxton, Ga., and Claudia Yawn of Douglas, Ga. 4 Grandchildren: Carsen Harrell, Krista Harrell, Joey Wright, and Dusty Wright, all of Douglas, Ga.
