Claudie Wooten Yawn, of Milan, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas. Claudie, 73, was the widow of Delacy Yawn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Vernie Cliett Wooten; brothers, Marcus Wooten and Bill Wooten; sisters, Roxie Smith and Shirley Dice. She was a homemaker.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 7 at the Sharon Baptist Church and interment will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Alec Bullington and the Rev. Bobby Joe Ryals will officiate.

Survivors include 4 children, Lowell (Denise) Yawn of Rhine, Anna Marie (Tracy) Conner of Douglas, David (Angie) Yawn of Eastman and Clavin Yawn of Knoxville, TN; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Roy L. (Kathy) Wooten of Douglas, Michael (Viola) Wooten of Eatonton and Robert (Katrina) Wooten of Broxton; 2 sisters, Willene (Robert) O’steen of West Green and Lucille Wooten of Broxton; several nieces and nephews.
