Mitzi Baker
Mitzi Chilcote Baker, 36, of Lamp Lagoon in Jacksonville, N.C., formerly of Fort Wayne, died Friday morning in North Carolina Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill.
Surviving are her husband, Jamie Curtis Baker; a son, Shawn Smith of Jacksonville; three daughters, Tanja, Kira and LaTasha, all of Jacksonville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delvia J. Chilcote of Fort Wayne; five brothers, Terry Chilcote of Palmer, Mass., and Rick, Delvia J., Jr., Randy and Reggie Chilcote, all of Fort Wayne; and four sisters, Mrs. Lana Scouten of Antwerp, Ohio, Mrs. Linda Culp and Mrs. Becky Cooper, both of Roanoke, and Holly Chilcote of Fort Wayne.
Services are 1 p.m. CDT Tuesday in Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Savannah, Tenn., where friends may call from 7 to 10 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Shiloh National Cemetery.
