This is my Grandmother...

Her parents were Frank Sullivan and Matilda Bolton (Thurston) St. George. She was the eldest and only daughter. Her three brothers were Frank Thurston, David and Edward Garfield St. George.

She was born in Massachusetts but she lived in Rhode Island most of her life. She married John Edward Hosterman on 27 May 1909 at age 32. She had four children, John Edward Junior, Walter David, Helen Matilda and Raymond Thomas Hosterman. Her youngest son, Raymond was my Dad.

Her obituary:

Mrs. John Hosterman: The funeral of Mrs. Mary Hosterman, wife of John Hosterman of 78 Connecticut Avenue, Lincoln Park, who died suddenly Thursday, took place yesterday from
the Jones-Walton Funeral Home, Providence, with a requiem mass at St. Francis' Church, Hillsgrove. The Rev, John J. Quinn, assistant pastor at St. Francis' Church, was the celebrant and read the committal service at St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Bearers were George McCurdy, William Haggerty, Hiriam Wilde, Stanley Zinowich, John Parrys, and Arthur Senecal.
