Eliza B. Marshall Slone, 95, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 6 2006, in Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born July 17, 1910, in Elliott Co. KY., a daughter of the late George Allan and Rena Salyers Marshall.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grayson and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jess Slone in 1988, and a son Billy Jack Slone in 2005.
Her other survivors include: two sons and three daughters-in-law, Paul E. and Helen Slone, John A. and Jean Slone, Ethel “Peanut” Slone all of Grayson, KY, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Malone Funeral Home, by the ministers Terry Leap and Harry Sanders. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens.
Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Zack Slone, Ryan Tussey, Kegan Tussey, Jarod Adams, Jeremy Thomas, Trei Tackett, Jeff Rice and Adam Slone.
Grandsons will serve as Honorable pallbearers: Jeff Slone, David Slone, Greg Slone and Richard Slone.
