LANETT, AL -- Mrs. Gaynelle Royster Adams Huff, 74, of Lanett died Thursday, 14 Jul 2005 at Bethany House in Auburn, AL.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, 17 Jul 2005 at Sunset Heights Baptist Church with Rev Clifford DeLee officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Huguley, AL.
Mrs. Huff is survived by her husband, Heyburn Huff; two daughters, Renee (Ronnie) Bishop and Donette Hornsby, both of Lanett, AL; two step-children, Marvin Huff of Valley, AL and Teresa McCullough of Lanett, AL; two sisters, Alma Sturn of FL and Louise Hodge of Opelika, AL; two brothers, Edward Royster of Valley, AL and James Royster of LaFayette, AL; three grandchildren, Michael Hornsby, Richard Hornsby and Dana Hodges; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Huff was born in Clay County, AL on 3 Oct 1930, the daughter of the late Thomas and Bama Lee Royster. She had been a resident of the Greater Valley Area since 1960 and was a retired employee of West Point Stevens. She had 49 years of service with the company, having worked at Lanett Mill and at Lanier-Carter Mill. She had been in declining health for the past several years. She was a member of Sunset Heights Baptist Church.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Chattahoochee Hospice or to Bethany House in her memory.
The family will be at the home of Donette Hornsby, 4215 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Lanett, AL and will receive friends at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley Saturday, 16 Jul 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m.
