Earl H. BAKER, 91, Rt. 1, Royal Center, died at 8:35 p.m. Saturday in Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac. He was born March 16, 1893 in Tiffin, Ohio, to Hugh F. and Mary A. MONTGOMERY BAKER. He was married to Bessie Blanche MURRAY Sept. 4, 1913 at Grass Creek; she died Sept 12, 1984. He was a retired Cass County farmer and was a member of the Grass Creek United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Forrest M. [BAKER], Rt. 1, Kewanna, and Dale A. [BAKER], Rt. 1., Royal Center; two daughters, Thelma O. McVAY, Williamsville, Mo., and Helen M. BONNELL, Rt. 1, Star City; nieces and nephews; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. A son, a sister and three brothers preceded in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Royal Center, with the Rev. Ron MOORE officiating. Burial will be in the Grass Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday, and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
