METTER - Harold Lewis Adams, 79, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at his home. The native of Bulloch County lived most of his life in the Metter area. He retired from Brodie Meter Company (Brooks Instruments) after 40 years. He loved to go fishing and was known as a quiet and kind gentleman to many people in Metter.
Survivors: brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Miriam Adams of Statesboro; two nephews, Ronny Adams of Statesboro and Rodney Adams of Portal; and one niece, Angela Heath of Statesboro.
The graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Upper Lotts Creek Cemetery with visitation to be held on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Kennedy-Morgan-Brannen Funeral Home.
