He has been an invalid for the last six years, his illness finally culminating
in dropsy, resulting in death. Decedent was born in Germany and emigrating to
America, became one of that vast army of thrifty pioneers to whom our beloved
country owes so much. He is survived by a wife and a large family of children,
now mostly grown up. He was a good and law abiding citizen and provident parent
and the community in his death has suffered a real loss. The funeral took place
this forenoon from the Catholic Church at Kasson, Rev. A. Cipin officiating.
