Services for Raymond C. Bertram Sr., 80, a lifelong Indianapolis resident, were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Singleton & Herr Madison Avenue Mortuary. He died Tuesday March 24th in University Heights Hospital.
He had been a maintenance supervisor 15 years at the English Foundation Building, retiring in 1965. Previously, he was an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 481. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 669.
Memorial contributions were made to the University of Indianapolis. Survivors: wife, Ruth Bingham Bertram; sons, Raymond C. Bertram Jr. and David L. Bertram; brother Edward Bertram; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
