Betty Jean Fetters, 74, born on July 26, 1937, to William and Irene Folsom, on the sixth of May lost her twelve-year fight at home with Alzheimer's.

Betty being one of five siblings -- three sisters and her twin brother -- grew up in Des Moines. In December of 1955, she married Gary Ronald Fetters, and they were together until his passing in July of 2011.

Betty is survived by her sisters, Viola Pinegar, Patricia Iseminger and Linda Vaughn; her three sons, Andrew, Craig, and Michael Fetters; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and twin brother, William Folsom.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
