Elsie Ward Ogden, 86, Richfield, died Oct 12, 1985, in a Richfield care center. She was born July 16, 1899, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, to John William and Elizabeth Ann Walker Ward She was married to Joseph Lerue Ogden, March 9, 1923, Manti LDS Temple. He died Sept. 2, 1968. She was an active member of the LDS Church and taught Primary for many years. She was a Relief Society visiting teacher and member of the ward choir. Survivors: sons, daughters: Howard J., Central; Mrs. W. P. (Carol) Nuffer, Toronto, Canada; Dale H., Bellevue Wash.; Geraldine Ragsdale, Sacramento, Calif.; Glen W., Richfield; Mrs. Gary M. (Arlene) Malchus, Milford; Mrs. Robert (Frances) Chiea, Cottonwood, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; brothers, sister, Benjamin, Price; Thomas, Sandy; Lawrence, Murtaugh Ida.; Mrs. Francis (Ada) Schaelling, Farmington; Harold, Provo. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Richfield Fourth Ward chapel. Friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Nea S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. Interment will be in the Richfield Cemetery.
