Funeral services for Ida Light, 74, Wheatland, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 14 at Trinity Lutheran church in Lowden, the Rev. Michael Heggen officiating. Burial was in Trinity Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Emil Meier, William Mann, Duane Buttlemann, Dale Ruchotzke, Cleotis Gehrls and Wilmer Gehrls. Mrs. Wilmer Gehrls, Mrs. Raymond Meier and Mrs. Walter Hack were flower attendants. Mrs. Lorenz Hoffmeier was organist and the male choir sang.

Mrs. Licht died March 11 in a Davenport hospital. She was born July 17, 1904 at Lowden, the daughter of Henry and Sophia Hulke Gehrls. She married Arthur H. Licht Nov. 7, 1923 at Galena, Ill.

She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. George (Eva) Kelley, LaPorte City, and Betty J. Licht, Wheatland; 4 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Wilma Ruchotzke, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Clara Bunge, Mechanicsville and Mrs. Albert (Emma) Bunge, Durant.

She was preceded in death by one son, 2 granddaughters, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
