Jackie Louise Smith, age 64 of Jasper, Texas died at her home on Wednesday May 9, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday May 12, 2012 at Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory in Jasper, Texas.
Burial will follow at the Ford Cemetery in Newton, Texas.
Family members will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm.
A native of Jasper, Texas, she graduated from Newton High School in 1965 and went to college at Sam Houston, the University of Alaska and Graduated from Lamar with a B.S. in Elementary Education and received a Masters Degree from Stephen F. Austin.
Jackie was a teacher at First Baptist Church in Jasper, and a teacher at Parnell Elementary before she and Bob opened Bob'S Pawn Shop with locations in Newton and Woodville where she was a co-owner, bookkeeper and operator.
Jackie was predeceased by hre parents, Jack and Louise Smith, both buried at Ford Cemetery and her brothers, Curtis and Elton Smith.
Survivors include a husband Robert D. "Bob" Smith, her sons, Gary and wife Kristin Smith and Craig and wife Melissa Smith, a brother, Christopher and wife Beth all of Jasper, her grandchildren, Emily, Laura, Andrew and Amanda.
