Noah Shadrick Gladden, Jr., age 68, of Texarkana, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 24, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Gladden was born on July 9, 1939, at Fouke, Arkansas, and had lived in Miller County Arkansas all of his life. He was employed with Bordens Milk Company for forty-seven years and was a country music band leader for thirty-five years. He was a member of Sylverino Baptist Church at Fouke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Shade and Ollie Gladden of Fouke, and one granddaughter, Georgia Gladden. Survivors include his wife, Connie Jo Gladden of Texarkana, Arkansas, two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Nell and Alan Green and Janice and Clayton Green all of Genoa, Arkansas, one son and daughter-in-law, Noah S. III and Lisa Gladden of Wichita Falls, Texas, seven grandchildren, Sheena and Johnny Tiner of Texarkana, AR, Shawna, Crystal, Clayton II, and Courtney Green of Genoa, AR, Haylie and Noah Gladden of Wichita Falls, TX, two great grandchildren, Heath and Korbyn Tiner of Texarkana, AR, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Glen Edgeworth, Ruby and John Browning, and Jean and Glen Petty, one brother and sister-in-law, JD and Alice Gladden, a brother-in-law, Delbert S. Bradley, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with David Smith and John Browning officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT THE FUNERAL HOME FROM 5 PM UNTIL 7 PM WEDNESDAY.
