Pat Duncan, born March 31, 1928 in Old Glory, Texas to David Cunningham Duncan and Ollie Merworth Duncan, passed away at the age of 84 in Springfield, MO surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother James Duncan.

He is survived by his children: Joseph Duncan of Osage Beach MO; Paula (Richard) Raymond of Harker Heights, TX; Mart Duncan of Sweetwater, TX; Beki( Daniel) Austin of Republic, MO; Sister Ollie Ruth Duncan of Aspermont, TX; 14 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren as well as other realtives, friends, coffee drinking and domino playing buddies.

Pat retired as a Lieutenant Commander from the US Navy after 26 years of dedicated service, including duty during World War II, Vietnam, and the Korean War. His awards and achievements include: Good Conduct, Navy Commendation, WWII Victory, United Nations and China Service.

Pat spent many years operating a chicken farm in Mansfield, Missouri until his final retirement in 1994. He enjoyed dominos, drinking coffee with his buddies and telling numerous life stories, mostly about his Naval career and his "Pa" who he will be laid to rest next to.

Services will be held 11:00am Friday May 11, 2012 at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel in Aspermont with burial to follow in Brazos Valley Cemetery.
