Widow Sarah Bond dies and is buried in Pleasant Valley church. On her stone is enscribed: MOTHER OF JOSEPH AND JOHN HEGEMAN. SHE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST SETTLERS OF THIS PLACE. DIED 1803, AGE 83.
