After four months of suffering, Mrs. Dickey, widow of the late Judge T. Lyle Dickey, passed away yesterday morning at the Palmer House where she has long resided. Shortly after the death of the late Judge, Mrs. Dickey's health begain to fail rapidly, and she came from Ottawa to Chicago for treatment. Her ailment at the time was enfeebled action of the heart, which brought on coagulation of blood in the region of the heart, and clots formed were transmitted through the arteries to the lower limbs, and they became clogged. Amputation of one of the limbs had to be resorted to some days since to prolong life, but her system was too enfeebled to sustain the shock, and she succombed yesterday morning at 8 o'clock, her sisters, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. A.M. Baker being present at her deathbed. Mrs. Dickey, who was married to Judge Dickey in 1870, was an old resident of the city and shared the social honors of her husband, to whom she was devoted. She resided at the Palmer House for seven or eight years, and was generally beloved for her kindliness of dispostion and deeds of charity. John J. and Charles H. Dickey, Mrs. Virginia Belle Wallace, and Martha Ann Wallace, children of the late Judge, had entered a suit against the deceased witht he view of breaking the will by which the Judge left to his widow, the whole of his property, and her death will probably lead to the withdrawal of the suit. The funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, after whichthe body will be removed to Ottawa,and laid to rest beside the remains of the late Judge.
