Funeral Services For Brother Are Held Saturday
Funeral services for Eddie D. Weese of Oak Hill, 57, brother of Mrs. Katie Hietter, were held in the Patterson Funeral home in Elmwood Saturday afternoon. Rev. Merle Williams of Bellevue officiated. Burial was in the Streitmatter cemetery here.
Mr. Wease was born in Princeville June 8, 1899, a son of George and Anna Streitmatter Weese and passed away in Proctor hospital in Peoria Thursday.
He spent most of his life in the Princeville community. For the past seven years Mr. Wease lived in Rosefield township near Elmwood. He had been engaged in farming, coal mining and railroad work.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Katie Hietter of Princeville.
Mrs. Hietter, Mrs. Leo Hietter Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. William Huber were among those attending funeral services
