Jane Salas Trevino, 86, of Temple, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012, at a local hospital with her family at her side. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m., May 10, 2012, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home. Funeral sevices will be at 10 a.m., May 11, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., May 10, 2012, at the funeral home.

Jane was born in Reagan, Texas, to the late Theodore and Ruby Gonzales Salas. In 1990, she retired from the Four Seasons Nursing Home after 20 years of service with the company. Jane was a faithful member of La Iglesia De Dios Pentecostes Rosa De Saron. Some of her favorite hobbies were sewing and gardening. Jane spent her life taking care of others and she was known by all as being a loving and generous person.

Jane is survived by her children, Dorothy Ibarra, Gladys Jimenez, Roy Trevino, and Virginia Fisher, all of Temple; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Rivera, of Marlin; and many dear friends.
