Elinor worked many years ago at the Ravenna Arsenal, but was a homemaker all of her married life. She enjoyed Bingo and playing cards, needlepoint and beadwork. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by five daughters, Dorothy (Dennis) Border of Howland, Janet (Bud) Pease of Bazetta Twp., D. Jeannie (Gary) Dockery, Sherry (Ernie Holbrooks) Bash and Judith Sanders all of Warren; 31 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and one brother, William Barnett of Florida.
Her husband, Leon Harlan Bash, whom she married May 5, 1939, preceded in death in 1963. One daughter, Shirley Bash; three sons, Lawrence, Ronald and Jack Bash; one great grandson, David Goss and 11 brothers and sisters all have preceded her in death.
Arrangements are being handled by Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 pm Thursday, November 12, 2009 followed by a memorial service at 3:30 pm on Thursday. Pastor Timothy McPherson will be officiating. Cremation was held and burial will be at Newton Falls West Cemetery.
