"NEW BERLIN — Kenneth Bruce Eccleston, 91, of New Berlin and formerly of Morris, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. He was born in Binghamton on Nov. 21, 1907, the son of George and Frances (Conklin) Eccleston. He married Ruth Turner on April 29, 1927, in Atlantic City, N.J. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary together. He had worked for the Raymond Corporation for 17 years, and prior to that had worked for Jim Menitt Trucking, The Linn Tractor Co., and at one time had worked for the town of Morris Highway Department ... Ken is survived by his wife, Ruth of New Berlin; a son, Carl Eccleston and his wife, Bernice, of New Berlin; a brother, Harold Eccleston of Chenango Bridge; a sister, Blanche Barbour of Atlantic City, N.J.; grandchildren, Carlette and Larry Brownell of Amsterdam and Sharel Eccleston of Kenosha, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Tanya, Melinda and Alicia Brownell; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Vivian and Ester Eccleston; several stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Leon, Leslie, Paul and Phillip Eccleston. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at the Johnston Funeral Home in Morris, at 2 p.m., with the Rev.
