NAMPA — Services for Zola Vernita Wikstrom, 58, Nampa, who died Friday in a Boise hospital following a short illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the College Church of the Nazarene, Nampa, by Rev. Clarence J. Kinzler, pastor. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel.
She was born Nov. 24, 1917, in Brewster, Kan., where she was reared. At age l2, she came to Nampa with her parents where she attended schools. She later attended Northwest Nazarene College. She married Joseph Wikstrom in 1939, in Salinas, Calif. They moved to Iowa and farmed near Kingsley for many years and returned to Nampa in May, 1976. She was a member of College Church of the Nazarene and worked 11 years for Plymouth Farmers Mutual Insurance Association of LeMars, Iowa.
Surviving are her husband, Nampa; two sons, Gerald, Dakota City, Neb.; and Charles, San Diego; four brothers, Marion Vail, Nampa; Harley Vail, Nicaragua; Elmore Vail, Nashville, Tenn.; and Virgil Vail, Bradley, Ill. two sisters, Mrs. Velma Blacklock and Lois McWatters, both of Nampa; and four grandchildren.
