Died - In Rootstown, January 30, 1878 of hemorrhage at the nose, Emily Baight wife of William Baight, age 34 years, 4 months and 16 days.
Mother, thou wilt sleep, but not forever;
In the lone and silent grave;
Blessed be the Lord that taketh,
Blessed be the Lord that gave.
Mother, thou wilt sleep but not forever;
There will be a glorious dawn;
You will meet with those that love you
On the resurrection morn.
Dearest mother thou hast left us,
Here thy lost we deeply feel,
But ‘tis God that has bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.
