William (Bill) G. Kosters, 76, died Sunday, at a Sioux City hospital following a prolonged illness.

He was born January 21, 1910, the son of Gerrit and Gertie (Bransten) Kosters at Sioux Center. He married Liz Vander Zwaag, June 29, 1945, at Orange City. Mr. Kosters lived most of his life in Orange City, where he was in appliance sales and service until about 15 years ago, when he semi-retired and went into monument sales.

He was a member of the Calvary Christian Reformed Church. Bill was a Navy veteran of World

War II, serving on the battleship USS South Dakota. He was a member of the American Legion,

Pressman-Kosters Post 329.

Survivors include his wife, Liz; a son, Allen, of Minneapolis, MN.; his stepmother, Mrs. Gerrit

(Gertrude) Kosters of Orange City; three sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Nell) Vande Griend of Hull, Mrs.

Robert (Lillian) Niekerk and Mrs. Freda Drost, both of Denver, Colo.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Fred, Allen, and Henry.
