Lucinda's marker was covered with dirt except for a small area which had no inscription visible when discovered on Sunday April 17, 2011. This marker would have been completly coverd in a few years. don sanford
On April 22, 2011 B. Leon Graves kindly made a trip to Big Barren Cemetery to reset Lucinda's marker in a upright position. On Apr.4, 2011 he furnished the following information:
I have installed two new photos on the memorial for Lucinda Miller. She was born in Speedwell, Claiborne County and died in Sharps Chapel, Union County. Lucinda was originally buried in Browning Cemetery, TVA #7. Her remains were moved by the Tennessee Valley Authority during the construction of Norris Dam, to Big Barren Cemetery, TVA #R-43 on March 29, 1935.
