Luther Phineas McKinney, 59, died at 6 am Mon. at the Clinic Hospital, Glasgow, from a heart attack. The son of the late Leslie McKinney and Mrs. Magnolia Pierce McKinney, he was born 12 Jul 1900 in Green Co. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Velma Hancock McKinney; a son, Ogden McKinney, Greensburg; and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tues. at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Bloyd officiating. Burial was in the Brooks Pierce cem. Pallbearers were Olen Jeff, Earnest Coomer, Leo Curry, Elwood Clark, Billy Pruitt and Howard Marr.
