Ida Florence Dobson McKinney, daughter of Grady Dobson of Summersville and the late Lillian Milby Dobson, was born December 7, 1927 in Green County and departed this life July 25, 1994 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She had made a profession in Christ and was a member of the Union Chapel Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Ogden McKinney, on March 29, 1947, who survives. To this union was born one daughter and one son; Betty McKinney and Bill McKinney both of Greensburg, Ky. Mrs. McKinney is survived by two brothers; Quincy Dobson, Summersville and Charles Dobson, Gabe Ky; one sister Nedie Dobson Martin, Glasgow Ky; five grandchildren; Lisa, Shane, and Dawn McKinney, Shelly Lynn Wright and Brandon Dale Lowe. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted Wednesday with burial in the Brooks Pierce Cemetery. Rev Leo Curry and Rev. Twyman Davis officiated.
